Community ICT Programme
Social exclusion is not something that is particular to being an individual. Communities can also become socially excluded. Our Community ICT Programme is based around the principle of ‘Community Reciprocal Giving’ i.e. opportunities provided by the community are to be used to create opportunities for the community. The goal is facilitate individuals working together to change their communities. Technology can play an important role in facilitating a community philanthropic spirit.
Through our ‘Community ICT Programme’, we again use IT and ICT in innovative ways to help the community or an excluded segment of the community build a firm foundation and move towards social inclusion.
The Programme provides the following:
- Community Reciprocal Giving Actions.
- Community Goals.
- Personalised coaching programmes designed to assist in providing direction, establishing goals, clearing blocks etc.
- Training in IT Engineering and IT Software.
- With our Partners, specialist skills training or specialised business support.
Communities and segments of Communities subject to social exclusion are asked to apply for the Community ICT Programme through our application process.
